Time Line Therapy is a powerful technique, designed to create freedom from the limiting effects of past negative emotions. Ditching these unwanted emotions enables life to be lived fully in the present with a positively planned for future.

Understanding that we cannot change our memories is an important learning curve. We can get frustrated, resentful and angry, but ultimately this does nothing to change those unwelcome feelings.

Time Line Therapy offers freedom from the past by changing our emotional response to these memories.

Exploring Your Timeline

What Happens in a Time Line Therapy Session?

Firstly you will be relaxed into a light trance and guided to create a mental representation of your unique personal timeline. Here you will be able to visualise your past, present, and future. This will help you understand where your emotions are coming from.

You will then be guided to mentally revisit past events where your unwanted negative emotions were first experienced.

During your visit to these past events, you will be encouraged to gain new insights and consider different perspectives. This might involve understanding the event in a new way, recognising its impact, and finding a lesson or positive aspect that was previously overlooked.

Once these past negative emotions are released, you will be guided to mentally project into your future. We finish by ensuring that new, positive responses replace the old negative ones.

What can Time Line Therapy help with?

  • Releasing Negative Emotions: Being stuck with feelings that seem to come from nowhere, can sabotage even the best days. We cannot change the past, however Time Line Therapy will help you release negative emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt.
  • Resolving Limiting Beliefs: Every limiting belief starts with an event. An event which will define your thoughts about yourself and others. Your interpretation of this event will be held deep in the unconscious mind dictating your beliefs and behaviours.
  • Whole System Alignment: The most toxic self beliefs can unconsciously bring secondary gain. We ensure that any changes made during Time Line Therapy are congruent with all aspects of your life.
  • PTSD Fears and Phobias: Even the deepest rooted phobia can be shifted with Time Line Therapy. The memory of the root cause event or events can be accessed in a dissociative state to minimise further distress.

(Time Line Therapy is sometimes used as part of a broader recovery plan for PTSD)

My Time Line Therapy session typically lasts 3/4 hours as a standalone or as part of a Breakthrough Day.
