1. What is NLP? 

Neuro Linguistic Programming is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as a system of alternative therapy intended to educate people in self awareness and effective communication and to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour. 
It is used to facilitate change someone’s thoughts and behaviour to get the outcome they desire and is incredibly effective for addressing many diverse issues including low self esteem and anxiety. 

2. What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is the most relaxed mental state we can be in while still being awake. That dreamy place you’re in as you wake up each day, that time lag when you’ve driven miles of motorway without consciously registering it. Nothing is done to you and you can move around and come out of the trance at any time. Contrary to popular belief you wont be clucking like a chicken or eating an onion like an apple. 

3. What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy uses guided hypnosis to induce a trance like state. It relaxes the mind and enables the person being hypnotised to focus on using the brains natural resources for making positive changes for the future. It is particularly helpful for helping the mind to stay disassociated when exploring difficult thoughts. 

4. What is Time Line Therapy™️? 

Time Line Therapy™️ is a powerful therapeutic intervention which works on the theory that we have every memory stored along our life line. By using a combination of NLP and Hypnosis, we can eliminate all of the painful memories and limiting beliefs, attached to past experiences and learn from them. 

5. What is a Transformation Breakthrough Day?

A Transformation Breakthrough Day I’d dedicated to getting you unstuck and enabling you to move on with your life. This may sound pretty far fetched, but by using a combination of NLP, Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy™️, you will experience the most rapid mindset transformation. Imagine all of those limiting beliefs bashed to bits and a new way of thinking installed, in just one day! 


6. What is the difference between coaching and counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy which involves a counsellor actively listening to the clients issues and concerns and helping them work out ways to gain a better understanding of themselves and others. One of the premises is that the client will talk about things which upset them and by talking through this more and more, they start to find a better way to move on.

Coaching focuses around exploring issues which are blocking the way forwards and removing them. It is a focus driven therapy with goals in mind. It focuses on what is happening now and what the client wants to happen next.  

NLP Coaching specifically uses techniques to improve the positive pathways in the brain by working on the clients thinking, their communication and their behaviour. A trained professional NLP coach will rapidly and effectively enable the client to unblock negative thinking and free them mentally to  move towards their goals. The premise is that you can’t change what’s happened but you can completely change your relationship to it. It is like removing unhelpful apps from a smart phone and loading on new ones. 

7. What is the cost of seeing a coach? 

Coaches, like anyone who provides a service will vary in their costs. Taking into account the training and experience a coach will have, it is reasonable for the client to understand that they are entering into a life changing process with a professional therapist. I asked one client how much her own life change meant to her, to which she replied “This is priceless!” I offer an complimentary call to decide whether we are a good fit. I then outline suggested packages and my fees. 

8. What does a potential client need to consider before they work with me?

a. Do I really want to let go of the bad stuff holding me back?

b. Am I committed to a programme of reaching forward and achieving my best life?

c. Am I prepared to do some home work? (Yes there is some!)

d. Do I value myself enough to invest in me?

e. How much do I want to change?

9. How many sessions will I need?

Depending on the extent and complexity of the issue, some clients have their Transformation Breakthrough Day and are then able to go forwards with a new way of thinking. Some clients prefer a few sessions (approx 4) to work through their issues and some clients will combine all of these approaches to benefit from regular coaching. I am committed to offering the best for each client and so we will tailor each programme to maximise positive results. 

10. Do I have to come along in person or can we work via the internet?  

My coaching is geared completely to what works best for individual clients. We can work remotely via the internet or in person at my private rooms in Salisbury. Some clients prefer a mix of in person or on and online coaching to suit their agendas.
